Cold Eyes has been invited to a screening in the 38th Toronto International Film Festival.
The film will screen in the Gala Presentation for the Festival, to take place from September 5-15. Its actors will get to walk the red carpet at the scene.
Cold Eyes is the third Korean film to make it to the Gala Presentation, after The Housemaid in 2010 and The Good, The Bad, The Weird in 2008.
The Asia programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival had watched the film in its VIP screening recently held in Korea.
Directors Jo Eui Seok and Kim Byung Suh, as well as actors Sul Kyung Gu, Jung Woo Sung, Han Hyo Joo and 2PM′s Lee Junho will attend the Festival. This will be Jung Woo Sung′s second time on its red carpet after The Good, The Bad, The Weird.
Director Peter Chan′s American Dreams in China, Don Argott′s The Art of the Steal, John Wells′ August: Osage County and Ron Howard′s Rush have also been invited to the Gala Presentation.
Cold Eyes has gathered a total audience of 4,727,751 until July 23, after its premiere on July 3.
