Joo Won has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming film ‘Cest Si Bon’ and might pair-up with actress Han Hyo Joo.
On January 2, according to the movie representative, “Joo Won has been cast as the male protagonist in ‘C’est Si Bon’.” Joo Won’s agency Sim Entertainment also confirmed the news.
On the same day, Newsen reported that Han Hyo Joo was offered to take the female lead role and positively considering.
According to Han’s agency BH Entertainment, “Han Hyo Joo starts filming for her upcoming Japanese movie by director Isshin Inudo and she is positively considering the offer in ‘Cest Si Bon’.
The film is based on a true story about an old Korean group called C′est Si Bon. It will be directed by Kim Hyun Seok, whose past projects include ‘Cyrano Dating Agency’ and ‘When Romance Meets Destiny’. Filming starts in August, and to be distributed by CJ Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Han Hyo Joo won the Best Actress award in last year’s 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards for her role in ‘Cold Eyes’. Last December 31, Joo Won bagged 4 awards in KBS Drama Awards including PD Award, Male Popularity Award, Best Couple Award (with actress Moon Chae Won), and Male Top Excellence Award.
